C for Chess

C for Chess Education Hong Kong is a Chess School located in Tseung Kwan O (Po Lam), Sai Kung District. We have professional and experienced chess coaches. We provide regular and online chess courses (Chess, Chinese Chess, Weiqi) for children aged 3- 18. As Chess is a traditional intellectual sport, we promote chess education with fun and innovative activities. Children will develop character through learning chess. Children will improve their problem solving skills, as well as their emotional management, communication skills, memory, attention span, respect and confidence. They can also learn from mistakes and challenging oneself. The skills that have developed are life-long.

吳震熙老師 NG Chun Hei, Alfred

 Ng Sir of C for Chess Education has more than 10 years of chess education experience. He used to be the chess coach of his alma mater-Kowloon Hua Ren College, and takes students to participate in competitions every year. In addition, Wu Sir has also served as a chess coach in Kwun Tong Maryknoll College, La Salle Primary School, Singapore International School, etc.

Classes

Chinese Chess (XiangQi) is a Chinese strategy board game played in China since 70 AD, it comes with a lot of benefit to the left and right observation including improving IQ, memory skills and spatial skills. At C for Chess Education HK, we provide well trained professional coaches to promoted fun and innovative Chinese chess learning context.

  • Learn the basic moves of chess pieces and understand special rules such as king-rook translocation​

  • Strengthen the training of midgame skills and enhance overall combat effectiveness

  • An average of 1.5 to 2 years of study can be promoted to advanced classes
